HEAT TRANSFER SERVICE

The process:

  • Printing an ink image on to thermal transfer paper
  • Positioning the transfer paper to the desired location on the garment.
  • Applying heat and pressure to the transfer paper.
  • And removing the transfer paper, leaving the ink image behind on the garment.

Why Heat Transfer?

Here is the senario...

  • You run a company, team, event, or organization.
  • You buy work place apparel, team wear, sports wear or spirit wear and have it branded with your logo or graphic design.
  • You have to meet "minimum quantities" when purchasing products.
  • You pay "set up fees".
  • And... You have to "wait two or three weeks" for your products to be completed.

Here is the Heat Transfer Solution...

  • You submit your logo to receive a Heat Transfer Package quote
  • You purchase a Heat Transfer Package of 75 per design / logo
  • You choose to let us stock them... or you can store them yourself!
  • You order your apparel, or bring in your own garments with no minimums required.
  • Your heat transfers are applied at our Heat Transfer Application Station
  • You pick up your finish products THE... NEXT... DAY!

Thats right, you don't wait weeks and weeks... And you don't need to buy a certain quantity of apparel...

EMBROIDERY SERVICE

The Process:

  • Client submits a digitized version of a design or logo, or has one created.
  • We then load the digitized file onto the embroidery machine's computer
  • We place desired garment on the embroidery machine
  • Using specific thread type and colours, machine then stitches out design or logo onto desired location of garment

Why Embroidery?

  • Embroidery has long been popular for its raised 3D look. It pops off the garment and gives the logo that extra bit of life!
  • A well designed logo can last for years and years on the garment.

What to keep in mind...

  • You will need to submit a digitized version of your logo, or have one made. (A service we provide)
  • For most orders, there is a minimum run quantity (usually 12 units)
  • Colours of thread are limited and may not match 100% to your logo colour.
  • Some "small text" logo's may not stitch well and will have to be altered or made bigger.
  • This process takes time, especially if your logo has a high stitch count

SCREEN PRINTING SERVICE

The Process:

  • Client submits a "Vectorized" file of the logo or design.
  • File is loaded onto a computer.
  • Completed screens are eventually produced. (One for each colour in the logo or design)
  • The screens are then applied to the press and "flooded" with ink
  • The desired garment is place under the press.
  • With a "stroke" the ink is pushed through the screen to the garment.

Why Screen Printing?

  • Screen Printing, or Silk Screen Printing, is one of the most popular branding options used up to date.
  • Its cost effective and the final product is usually a high quality, sharp looking ink image!
  • This printing technique works great for both small and large volumes.
  • Ink colours are usually a very close match to the original logo colour.

What to keep in mind...

  • Most orders require a minimum run quantity (usually 12 units)
  • Screen charges and set up fees usually apply.
  • Ink can only be applied to certain types of material. Application on other materials can lead to the ink bleeding in too deep, discolouring the ink.

DIGITIZING SERVICE

The Process:

  • Client submits logo or design in jpeg, pdf, or vector file format.
  • File is scanned and converted to a "digitized" file format using special software for embroidery.
  • File is now ready to be read by embroidery machine computers.

Why Digitize?

  • If you intend on using embroidery as your method of branding, digitizing your logo is the first step.

What to keep in mind...

  • Your logo has to be a reasonable size in order to produce a digitized file that will stitch correctly. One example is the text being too small. The stitch count will be to low, and the text will look "stringy"
  • Digitizing is a service that comes with a cost. This cost usually depends on logo size, colour, and thread count.

GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICE

We won't lie... we are not the Vincent van Gogh of graphic design. We are, however, quite capable of producing simple, classy designs that stand up with the best. We have gained experience in design through our Kitchener Minor Hockey apparel program and we have a lot of fun while we are at it! 1st Impressions design team is headed by Kent Merriam. Kent is responsible for most of the designs used for our hockey program, as well as designing his own line of clothing which can be seen WWW.NALLAS.CA
